Twitter is the most used social media platform used by almost all the world renowned personalities. Twitter is the most powerful medium to disseminate message to followers. Former President of United States of America Barack Obama is on the top in the list of top 100 most follower twitter accounts with 606 million followers followed by Pop singer Justien Bieber, who is followed by almost 298 million.
Taylor Swift don’t follow anyone but she is followed by 86 millions and is holding 5th position in the list. The present President of United States of America Donald J. Trump is at 9th position with 79 million followers and he himself follow 46 only.
Twitter is the most used in India also that is why 14 Twitter accounts of Indian personalities have made place in top 100 list. The Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the most followed on Twitter with more than 56 million followers and stood at 17th rank in the list of top 100 most followers. The Indian super star film actor Amitabh Bachchan is holding the rank of 31st in the list with almost 42 million followers.
Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan are holding the position of 32 and 33 in the list with almost same 40 million followers. Akshay Kumar has attained the position of 40 in the list with around 36 million followers. Two Indian cricket players are also in the list, Virat Kohali and Sachin Tendulkar who are holding position of 44 and 53 in the list with almost 35 million and 32 million followers respectively.
Three Indian film actresses have also made their place in the list of 100. Deepika Padukone is the top most followed actress with 27 million followers and she is at position 72.
A R Rahman is the only Indian musician who is in the list of 100 and is holding position 89 with almost 23 million followers but he himself follow 1 only .
