As per Regulation 20B of the Telecom Commercial Communications Customer Preference (Eleventh Amendment) Regulations, 2013 (5 of 2013) dated 24.05.2013, there shall be no transactional SMS charge on the following type of bulk SMS messaging.
- Any message on the directions of the Central Government or State Government.
- Any message on the directions of bodies established under the Constitution.
- Any message on the directions of the Authority.
- Any message by any agency authorized by the Authority from time to time.
The newly revised instructions on BSNL Bulk Push Message / SMS tariff have been implemented with effect from 4th January 2021.
