To unlock a smartphone, you need to sweep the screen but now Motorola has launched Moto X which is touch-free and you need not sweep the screen to unlock the phone. The phone has a unique feature, the phone’s information display turns on when you take it out of your pocket or simply when you pick it up from the table.
For a more touch-free experience, Moto X recognizes voice command
“OK Google Now”, say it, even if Moto X is in sleep mode, this voice command will wake it up and initiate Google Now.
Moto X also has another unique feature, you can take click photos quickly even from a locked screen. You just need to pick up the phone, twist the wrist two times and now Moto X is ready to capture the snap. You can touch anywhere on the screen while taking photos.
Moto X will be available in stores and online in the US, Canada, and Latin America by late August or early September. US Cellular carriers Sprint, Verizon, and AT&T will offer Moto X ($200 for 16GB and $300 for 32GB, with a two-year agreement), Sprint has also started pre-registration for Moto X. Sprint will offer it to new customers or eligible customers for an upgrade. The new customers can also enjoy Sprint’s unlimited guarantee plan, My Way, and My All-in rate plan under which you will get unlimited talk, text, and data for just $80 per month.
Sprint’s Unlimited, My Way plan also offers unlimited data as compared to other carriers, for example, Verizon has introduced a new plan of $80 which offers only 500MB of data along with unlimited talk and text.
