Mint Mobile has introduced a few limited-time offers for new subscribers in the USA. Prospective customers can either sign up for a free trial of Mint Mobile for one month or receive one month free when they buy any three-month package. This promotional offer is being promoted by actor and Mint Mobile co-owner Ryan Reynolds through TV commercials.
Mint Mobile One Month Free Trial Offer
Mint Mobile offers a free trial offer (normally it costs $20 for a month) to new customers only, which includes unlimited call, text, and data, with the first 10GB of data being available at 5G internet speeds before being throttled to substantially slower data speeds. By downloading the Mint Mobile app for iOS or Android, the trial is immediately activated by eSIM. It’s also accessible with a standard SIM card. You will be provided with a trial phone number by Mint Mobile. Those using an eSIM must activate it by 2/13/23. You have till 3/1/23 to start the free trial if you use a physical SIM card.
Only new activations are eligible for the free trial. Existing customers are not permitted to avail of this offer. You just need to provide your email address, phone number, mailing address, and credit card to Mint Mobile in order to sign up for a free trial. Trial plans must be activated with a credit card. After the expiry of the free trial period, the only option for customers for using the service is to sign up for any other Mint Mobile plan at its usual price or a new discounted 3-month plan.
One Month Free of Service Offer
Mint Mobile also launched another promotion of offering one month free for new customers if they sign up for any 3-month plan as an alternative to the free month trial offer. As new customers sign up for one of those plans, Mint Mobile will charge for two months only and you will enjoy services for three months.
The prices for each offer are listed below. shown prices are excluded taxes and fees, and is the total amount you’ll have to pay for three months.
- $30 for 4GB of monthly data, the regular new customer rate is $45
- $40 for 10GB of monthly data, the regular new customer rate is $60
- $50 for 15GB of monthly data, the regular new customer rate is $75
- $60 for 35GB of monthly data, the regular new customer rate is $90
All the above plans come with unlimited call, text, and data, and the monthly data allotment is available at up to 5G data speeds before being throttled. All options come with free calling to Mexico and Canada as well as access to mobile hotspots.
Mint Mobile also allows you to make a family plan by mixing any combination of the above plans for individual members. However, there is no discount on total billing.
If you buy Samsung Galaxy A32 5G (64GB) phone and sign up for any one plan for 6 months, you will receive 6 months of service free. Similarly, if you buy Google Pixel 7 Pro 5G (128GB) phone bundled with 6 months plan, you will receive 6 months of service free.
