Spain telecom operators and MVNO sell Mobile Plans with much variations

After the United States, Spain is the second most affected by Corona virus COVID-19 where 262783 cases were reported positive and 26478 have died. People are scared and are sharing their feelings with their friends and family through social media, instant messaging chats, etc. After health professionals and security personnel, the most deserving of a round of applause is telecom professionals who are providing uninterrupted services to the nation.

Spain has more than 55 million subscribers and Movistar is the largest telecom operator with around 17 million subscribers in Spain among which Orange, Vodafone, and Yoigo are the other three major operators.  

These four major operators sell telecom services under 58 brand names. Movistar has 3 brands, Orange has 31 brands, Vodafone has 8 brands and Yoigo has 13 brands. Three brands have their own network.

Movistar is selling a mobile plan of 10GB data with unlimited calls for € 15 per month. Orange is offering € 29.95 plan in which customers get 16 GB of data plus unlimited calling. Vodafone has € 20.99 plan in which it offers unlimited calling and unlimited data. The rate  € 20.99 / month is valid for 12 months only and after that  € 45.99 / month would be charged. Yoigo is offering a 3GB data plan for € 11 for 12 months but after that charges would be € 14 per month, of course, customers will get unlimited voice calls.

Some of the MVNOs of these major operators offer cheaper plans like Conectabalear is offering three times of data in each plan. Conectabalear’s € 11.70 plan offers 30GB of data until January 2021.
