Microsoft launches Internet-ready feature phone Nokia 215 for $29

At CES-2015, Microsoft has launched a new feature phone Nokia 215, with ability to access Internet at 3G speed at the rock bottom price of $29, to target the Asia, Africa and the Middle East market.


The new Nokia 215 uses in-built Opera Mini as Internet browser and customers can also be connected to social media Facebook and Twitter through in-built applications.

The feature phone Nokia 215 has best features among its peer phones.

  • Display: 2.4-inch QVGA screen with resolution  320 x 240 pixel display
  • Operating System: Series 30+
  • Camera: 0.3M main camera
  • Special: FM Radio, Torch and microSD card to store your favorite songs
  • Connectivity: 2G, 3G and Bluetooth
  • Battery:  1100mAh which is claimed to lasts for 29 days on standby and is also sufficient for 20 hours talk time and 50 hours for MP3 music playback.
