BSNL offers ADSL WiFi Modem free of cost

To promote and increase ADSLbroadband connection base in the country, nation’s state-owned PSU BSNL has come out with another innovative idea. To make broadband connection further affordable, it has decided to offer ADSL WiFi modem free of cost which otherwise normally costs Rs 1500 if you buy it from BSNL or if you get it on rent then you have to pay Rs 110 as a rent per month.

BSNL has started offering WiFi modem free of cost if a customer subscribes a broadband connection with BSNL under annual or higher payment option  having fixed monthly charge (FMC) of Rs 1000 or above.

The customer who would subscribe broadband connection under annual or higher payment option  having FMC above Rs 600 and below Rs 1000, they are eligible to get the ADSL WiFi modem at reduced price of Rs 500 i.e. at a discount of 66%.

BSNL have hardly two or three broadband plans which has FMC below Rs 600 hence with this promotional offer, almost all the customers will be eligible to get the ADSL WiFi modem at either reduced price of Rs 500 or free of cost.

If a customer surrender broadband connection before expiry of committed period, BSNL will charge Rs 1500 for ADSL WiFi modem from customer who have taken it free of cost. Those who have taken it at reduced price of Rs 500, BSNL will charge balance amount of Rs 1000 from the customer for ADSL WiFi modem.

This promotional offer has already come in action from 25 December, 2015 across the country and is valid for 90 days.
