BSNL has understood the power of social media and the PSU has decided to extend the facility of booking a new connection through Social media like Facebook or Twitter.
Currently a customer can book a new connection be it landline or broadband through SMS. On receiving SMS from prospective customer, a BSNL representative contact the customer and visit the customer’s premises and collect all necessary document along with filling of customer application form (CAF).
Similar procedure may also be adopted for customers who will book new connection through social media.
BSNL has also announced following incentive to customers for booking Landline or Broadband.
- Registration charge and installation charge waived off
- One free BSNL SIM with 50MB data will be provided free of cost
- If customers will buy ADSL Modem for broadband, they will get Rs 100 discount in billing for 15 months for booking of Broadband having FMC Rs 700 or more.
