Best Cheap Prepaid Cellular Plans of MVNO V/s National Carriers of US

Verizon just a day before launched new set of prepaid cellular plans ALLSET after major revamping of its existing prepaid plans. The new prepaid plan from Verizon starts from $45 for smartphone users that offers unlimited talk, text plus 500MB of data. This much may not sufficient for many smartphone users and higher data usage shoots up their phone bills.us_best-prepaid copy

If you have unlocked smartphone, you have many more options for prepaid connections, bring your own device (BYOD). I have just compiled the prepaid plans available with Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs). Basically these MVNOs buy and remix minutes and megabytes from the major service providers into plans of their own and offers at lower prices.

Republic WirelessSprint MobileThe highest plan $40 offers unlimited talk , text and 4G LTE data but with a cap at 5GB plan. The plans also include unlimited free Wi-Fi calling from anywhere in the world, useful for international travelers.
TingSprint MobileIt offers flexible plans and you have to pay what you use. For a user using up to 500 minutes of calling, up to 1000 texing and data usage up to 2GB costs $9+$5+$29=$43 only
Straight TalkAll Major CarriersIt has national unlimited plan $45 which offers unlimited talk, text and data. The data usage is capped at 2.5GB thereafter speed throttles for rest of 30 days. For three monts, this plan costs $130.
Ultra MobileT-MobileThe Unlimited talk, text and data plan $49 offers first 1GB of data at 4G speed alongwith a $20 monthly international call credit, while the Unlimited talk, text and data plan $59 gives you first 4GB of data at 4G speed, but only $5 of international credit. After capped data crosses, speed throttles.
ChitChatSprint MobilePlan $19.99 for unlimited talk & text plus $35 for unlimited 4G LTE data usage or alternatively $30 for unlimited 3G/4G/WiMax data usage. Total $50 or $55 as per your need.
Consumer CellularAT&T15000 text and 2GB data for $30 and 500 minutes of voice call for $20, combinely at $50 includes 500 minues, 15000 texts and 2GB data.
Giv MobileT-MobileIt has only has two plans, both with unlimited voice and text: $40/month gives you 250MB of data, and $50/month gives you 2GB.
KajeetSprint MobileIts plan starts as low as $4.99 but its highest plan $49.99 offers unlimited talk, text and 2GB data. If you can manage with 1GB data then plan costs $34.99
Net10 WirelessAll Major CarriersIts plan $50 offers unlimited talk, text and data with a cap at 2.5GB but for price of $60 the caps shift to 3.5GB. For a family of two, the plan costs $90 and both family member will enjoy features of $50 plan
Page Plus CellularVerizon WirelessYou can get unlimited talk and text, along with 2.5GB of data for $55, and if you need still more data than plan $69.95 offers 5GB of data
T-MobileIt has prepaid plan of $30 which offers unlimited web and text plus 100 minutes for voice calling. If web is not required then plan $35 offers unlimited talk and text. Web passes are also available $15 for 1GB with 7 days validity, $20 for 2.5GB with 30 days validity
AT&TIts Prepaid plan for smartphone costs $60 for unlimited talk, text plus 2GB data
SprintIts Prepaid plan for smartphone costs $60 for unlimited talk, text and data
Verizon WirelessPrepaid plan starts from $45 for smartphone which offers unlimited talk and text plus 500MB data. For additional data, bridge data package are available, $10 for 1GB and $20 for 3GB, both comes with 90 days validity.

You can see that Freedom Pope offers the cheapest prepaid plans but it uses VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol). Zact’s prepaid plans are very good for families but it requires custom firmware which works with four specific phone models only. You can’t use your unlocked phone here similarly Republic Wireless also uses special firmware which works with two phone models only.
