China’s largest smartphone maker, Xiaomi has just entered in Indian smartphone market with its flagship Xiaomi Mi3. This smartphone was introduced last year in China and after its grand success, Xiaomi launched this phone in Singapore and Malaysia before its debut in India.
Xiaomi has set aggressively much lower price of Rs 14,999 for this phone in Indian market and it will be sold exclusively through e-commerce website “Flipcart” starting July 15, 2014.
This is the third Chinese company, after Oppo and Gionee which have entered in India market but its bottom rock pricing for high end devices, it will give direct competition to Oppo and Gionee as well as other brands like Micromax and Karbonn.
The Xiaomi Mi3 smartphone comes with Xiaomi’s Mi Cloud service, which allows users to save and access their contacts, messages, photos, notes and call logs online. They will also be able to back up apps in the cloud and locate the handset online in case it is lost.
