Samsung today launched the Galaxy Grand Neo smartphone in India after grand success of its super popular Galaxy Grand smartphones. The Galaxy Grand Neo was global unveiled just one month ago. The new smartphone is listed on e-commerce websites, ebay for Rs 18290 and on Snapdeal at Rs 18679. 
With the launch of Galaxy Neo in Indian market where Galaxy Grand and Grand-2 are being sold as hot cakes so let us see what this new smartphone have for you so that you can take a informative decision.
Display: The Galaxy Grand Neo comes with 5-inch TFT screen with 800x480p same as original Galaxy Grand has but Galaxy Grand 2 features a HD touch LCD display of 5.25 inches with a higher resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.
SIM: All three are dual SIM but you can use mini sized SIM in Galaxy Grand Neo while original Galaxy Grand uses standard size and Grand-2 uses micro SIM.
Operating System: It was expected that new smartphone will be loaded latest Android KitKat OS but Galaxy Grand Neo functions on Android Jelly Bean v 4.3 as The Galaxy Grand-2 works while original Galaxy Grand functions on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean platform.
Processor: Galaxy Grand New has 1.2GHz quad-core processor with A7 CPU architecture while original Galaxy Grand is designed with a Cortex A9 dual core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz. The Galaxy Grand-2 is powered by 1.5GHz quad-core processor. 
Memory: Galaxy Grand Neo comes in two variants 8GB and 16GB coupled with 1GB RAM while original Galaxy Grand comes with 8GB internal memory coupled with 1GB RAM only. The Galaxy Grand 2 has higher RAM, it has 1.5GB RAM. All these three Galaxy Grand models come with microSD card slot for expanding storage up to 64GB.
Camera: Galaxy Grand Geo is fitted with downgraded rear camera of 5MP as compared to original Grand and Grand-2 models, even front camera is also downgrades as VGA camera is featuring on Grand Geo while both Grand and Grand-2 have 2MP camera on front face.
Connectivity Features: All three Grand models offer connectivity options on Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, 3G and GPS.
Battery: The Galaxy Grand Neo is powered by 2100 mAh battery, same as used in its original Galaxy Grand but the Galaxy Grand 2 works on a high capacity battery of 2600 mAh.
Price: The Galaxy Grand Neo is now open for sale for decent price of Rs 18290, while current price of Galaxy Grand on e-commerce sites starts from Rs 15344 and Grand-2 is available at price of Rs 20900.
Although Samsung has launched Galaxy Grand Neo for Rs 18290 but we have seen that Galaxy Grand 2 has higher specs as compared to its and is now available at slightly higher price of Rs 20900. Grand Neo has most of the features similar to original Galaxy Grand but even then it is priced higher than Galaxy Grand. If you add some more bucks, you can buy a premium quality Galaxy Grand-2 Smartphone.
