Starting today May 15, 2014, BSNL is going to offer a new standalone unlimited broadband plan for all customers across the country. The new “BBG ULD 1275” plan has FMC of Rs 1275 per month besides FMC of your landline phone. The plan will offer download speed up to 4Mbps till 20GB data usage after which speed will be redce to 512Kbps.
BNSL is already having a similar featured broadband plan “BBG Combo ULD 1425” which also offers download speed 4Mbps up to 20GB and thereafter speed throttles to 512Kbps.
Now the big question is that which one broadband plan is to be preferred.
If you lives at a place where FMC of landline connection is Rs 195, your total monthly bill with new broadband plan will be Rs 195+Rs 1275=Rs 1470, costlier than “BBG Combo ULD 1425” plan so straight way go for “BBG Combo ULD 1425” plan, this plan also offers 250 free calls.
Where FMC of landline connection is Rs 140, then total bill in new plan is cheaper by Rs 10 but still you must go for “BBG Combo ULD 1425” plan because it offers 250 free calls (for additional cost of Rs 10 only !).
Dear Anthony & all others ,No one gets more than 200KB/s to 230KB/s and this speed can be achieved only in night when no user is connected.BSNL never provides more than this.Strictly they provide in 1:8 i.e 4Mbps=512 Kilobyte devided by 8 which comes to 64KB/s……But we may get more than 64KB/s when none other is connected or only few consumers are connected at the same time to your port from where your line is connected. Now in August 2016 BSNL has increased limit to use up to 40GB with full speed and thereafter you can get maximum of 1Mbps=128KB/s.But FULL SPEED of BSNL means NEVER MORE THAN 1/2 of your plan and ALWAYS BELOW to speed of your opted PLAN of your connectionfor which we are paying around Rs.1633/-permonth .NOW due to misbehave of BSNL EVERY PERSON WOULD LIKE TO PAY around Rs.1600/- to Jio 4G for availing speed of up to 25 MBps and minimum it comes to 5MBps=128x 5= around 700 KB/s………..Movies can be seen without buffering..Check your speed with Internetfrog.com and notify me once again………..After all it is truth that even in all the courts of INDIA even Video conferrencing from JAIL to COURTS is not possible and it is done with use of mobile phones and simple one page document cannot be uploaded to send email to some one and SUBORDINATE court’s employees daily go to out of court premises to send emails………This is shame on BSNL…..A single page of document is neither gets uploaded nor it can be sent to some one………It is STATUS OF VPN connection also in most part of INDIA.
