Vodafone and Idea have merged and after completion of network integration of both telecom brands, launched a new brand logo “Vi” for the combined entity.
Vi has now silently launched a referral program by which Vi postpaid customers can get up to Rs 600 off in their billing cycles. To avail of this discount, they have to do the following.
- Vi Postpaid customers have to use the Vi Mobile app and generate the invite link
- They have to share this invite link with their friend or family members and convince them to subscribe Vi Postpaid connection.
- The referred customer must activate the new Vi postpaid connection on www.myvi.in site by using the shared referral link
- On activation of this new postpaid connection, you will get Rs 100 off per month in their monthly bill.
- Vi Postpaid customers may send the invite link to as many as possible but they will get Rs 100 off for a maximum of two successful referrals only. That is they will get a maximum of Rs 600 only.
- The referred customers will also get free 100GB data per month for six months.
- This referral program is available until 30 April 2021.
The Vodafone-Idea (Vi) has the following four new RED postpaid plans. The premium REDX plan comes with a free subscription to NETFLIX. Vi also offers a free subscription to Amazon Prime for primary connections and Vi Movies and TV subscription for both primary and secondary connections of their family plans.
The four Red plans are Red 399, Red 499, Red 699, and Redx 1099, their details are given below.
RED 399

- This plan comes with a lock-in for the first 6 months. In case you change your plan to any other Postpaid plan or port out of Vodafone or migrate to Prepaid within 6 months of activating REDX, you will be charged a one-time exit fee of Rs 3000.
Family Plans
Two members of a family get two postpaid connections for a total monthly bill of Rs 649. They will get a total of 80GB of data, out of which the primary member can use 50GB while the second member can use 30GB of data.
If a family of two members wants to get two connections of the REDX plan, they can get it for Rs 1348 per month only. The primary connection will get all features of the REDX 1099 plan while the secondary connection will get 30GB of high-speed data and for additional data, have to pay Rs 20 per GB. The unused data up to 50GB may be rollover for the secondary connection.
BSNL Family Postpaid Plans
Three members of a family get three postpaid connections for a total monthly bill of Rs 799. They will get a total of 120GB of data, out of which the primary member can use 60GB while other members can use 30GB of data each.
Four members of a family get four postpaid connections for a total monthly bill of Rs 899. They will get a total of 160GB of data, out of which the primary member can use 70GB while other members can use 30GB of data each.
Five members of a family get five postpaid connections for a total monthly bill of Rs 999. They will get a total of 200GB of data, out of which the primary member can use 80GB while other members can use 30GB of data each.
