Do you remember Reliance Communication’s Zero Plan ? Similar plans has been launched by India’s second largest private mobile operator Vodafone.
Vodafone has come out with two special plans for iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus buyers dubbed as iPhone 6K and iPhone 10K Plans.
Features of these plans are as follows
- iPhone 6K Plan offers 6000 voice minutes, 1500 SMS and 6GB of 3G data free per month
- iPhone 10K Plan offers 10000 voice minutes, 2500 SMS and 10 GB of 3G data free per month
Vodafone will offer these two attractive plan to those customers who will buy iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus from their store on a EMI plan.

The Monthly EMI, as shown in above tables, includes cost of iPhone device, freebies of iPhone 6K/10K plans and applicable taxes and Interest.
Hence if you desire to buy iPhone 6 Plus 16GB which is available in market for a price of Rs 62500, you can take it from Vodafone store for an initial payment of Rs 3599+Rs 8490 and then you have to pay Rs 3599 for next 23 months so effectively it will cost you Rs 94866 in two years but in this cost you will get Plan 6K just free for 24 months.

But the difference between Vodafone’s iPhone plan and Reliance’s Zero Plan is that Reliance offers unlimited talk, SMS and Data included in the EMI of the device. Reliance Zero Plan has three tenures viz 24 months, 12 months and 6 months. Reliance have added Samsung Galaxy S5 to its zero plan family where it offers this Galaxy S5 for an EMI of Rs 2836 for 24 month which includes cost of device and freebies of Zero Plan. Galaxy S5 thus costs you Rs 68064 while it is available in the market for Rs 34000 excluding service plan.
