Almost all the world’s best companies explored the platform of International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2013 to launch their best product in the show. Obviously Asus didn’t miss it and launched its best product The Transformer AiO (All-in-One) PC P1801.
The Asus launched this Transformer AiO PC which is a hybrid Windows 8 desktop PC with a detachable Full HD 18.4” touchscreen with of resolution 1920×1090 pixels . This 18.4” screen acts as monitor as well as tablet if detached. On detaching the touchscreen, the touchscreen can be used as a stand alone 10 point touchscreen tablet , which can run on either Windows 8 or Android Jelly Bean OS version 4.1. Looking at the size of touchscreen, it would be difficult to use it outside and you will love to use in and around the house only.
The base of Transformer is the “brain” and is powered by Intel Core i3, i5 or i7 lvy Bridge CPU with NVIDIA GT 730M graphics processing for better performance. The base has 8GB of DDR3 RAM with hard disc storage capacity from 500GB to 2TB.
The detachable screen which can also be used as standalone tablet, is powered by an Nvidia Tegra 3 processor and has 32GB internal storage.
The base of Transformer has Windows 8 OS while the tablet can run either windows 8 or you may switch to Jelly Bean Android OS 4.1 by pressing a button on the base of the Transformer AiO.
The Asus Transformer AiO P1801 will be available for sale in Q1 in the US starting price tag of $1,299.
