PC manufacture Toshiba has announced a new addition to its range of tablets for customers of UK. The new tablet is called the AT300SE and runs on latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system . The tablet has a 10.1-inch LCD display with aspect ratio of 16:10 for watching widescreen movies and resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. Toshiba says that the tablet is ideal for everyday tablet users.
The tablet is powered by Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor and has 1GB RAM. The tablet is 10.5 mm thick and weighs 625 gm. The tablet has a textured design with a dotted pattern on the back to help improve grip.
Toshiba promises that the tablet will operate with two-cell 25.0Wh battery which lasts up to 10 hours per charge. The device has full access to the Google Play store and supports a wide variety of video, music, and photo formats.
The AT300SE supports additional external hard disk storage capacity via a microUSB port. The tablet also has 16 GB of onboard storage with a micro SD card slot so that memory can be enhanced up to 64 GB. Other hardware features include integrated Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth 3.0, 3-megapixel rear camera, and a 1.2-megapixel front camera. The tablet will be available for sale by end of 2012 with starting price of £ 299.99 for 16 GB edition.
