Sprint to offer Unlimited My Way Plan for $65 for ‘One Up’ Customers

Last updated on January 16th, 2023 at 05:04 am

US’s third largest and fast growing LTE Carrier, Sprint, which is now having LTE coverage in 185 markets, is reportedly have planned to take on all other three national carriers and is launching its own early upgrade program “One Up” for smartphones on September 20, with the goal of saving money over similar plans from T-Mobile’s Jump, AT&T’s Next, and Verizon Wireless’s Edge Upgrade plans.

One Up upgrade plan is for postpaid customer only and will allow users to upgrade their old phone with a new smartphone every year.

Here is the screenshot of the comparative chart showing Saving for One Up

The salient feature of this One Up are as under.

  • Buy Smartphone without making any down payment
  • Pay for the full cost of the Smartphone in 24 equal monthly installments
  • Trade in your Smartphone every 12 months to upgrade (or keep it and pay it off if you want)

We understand this with example, suppose you grab the new iPhone 5S, which is also coming on Sprint Network on September 20, that costs $650 without contract, by paying just $27 per month for 24 months with no money down. After a year, you can trade this phone back to Sprint, having effectively paid $324 over 12 months and take new smartphone. You will start again paying monthly installments on that new smartphone.

Now the real catch of this One Up plan is that Sprint is offering its most famous plan “Unlimited My Way” to the One Up customers, with a discount of $15 and this plan will cost just $65 per month for them, now Cheapest plan among all four carriers. The Unlimited My Way plan offer the user unlimited talk, text and data. T-Mobile’s similar plan cost $70 per month.
