Sprint announces 6-months free trial to Spotify for Framily customers

Sprint today reported that nearly 3 millions customers are on their Framily plan, under which individual phone bill may be as low as $25 a month only.

To make their Framily customer more delighted, Sprint, in partnership with streaming music service Spotify, made another announcement, starting from May 9, 2014, all framily customers will get free trial for 6 months to digital music service Spotify Premium where they can enjoy millions of songs.

After expiry of free trail, Framily customers have option to sign up for Spotify at discounted rates. Framily customers will get heavy discount if number of lines are more in a Framily account.

A Framily plan account with 1 to 5 lines will have to pay discounted price of $7.99 per month while account with 6 to 10 lines will be eligible for more discounted price of $4.99 per months. These discounted prices are applicable for 18 months only after which normal monthly rate of $9.99 will be applicable.

Sprint customers on other wireless plans will also get free trial of Spotify Premium but they will get it for just 3 months only and after expiry of this free trail period, they will not be eligible for discounted rates.
