Microsoft, popularly known as software company, entered in hardware segment and launched its most awaited first hardware Windows Surface tablet.
Microsoft’s Surface tablet is so compact that it would be used as both as Tablet and a PC as we can attach the provided keyboard with single magnetic click and then pulling out the stand behind it.
Microsoft released its two versions, one is Windows RT & other one is Windows8 Pro. The surface tablet of Windows RT version come in 32GB and 64GB variant whereas tablet of version Windows 8 Pro has 64GB and 128GB Storage Memory.
The Surface tablet has 10.6-inch clear HD type screen with resolution of 1366×768 pixels which brings up awesome image quality. With its Ultra Wide View Angle that will surely brings you a great experience of watching HD movies onto it. The Surface tablet will operate on Windows 8 operating system and is powered by 1.3GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 processor and has a microSD card slot to extend the memory up to 128GB cards, the tablet includes 2GB of RAM.
It has connectivity option on Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and has a gyroscope, an accelerometer, and a built-in compass.It sports a Micro-HDMI port, a full USB 2.0 port, and a power port that magnetically attaches the power cable. The 32GB version of tablet is costing $499 and Microsoft started its selling in U.S. and markets including Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, the United Kingdom and the China where its first buyer was so exited that he camped outside the Microsoft store since 6.0 PM of the night before to be first in the line in which there were around 600 exited buyer in queue. . .
This new sleek tablet will give a direct competition to Apple and Google in the tablet market and The main competitor of Microsoft, the Apple, in an statement, branded Surface tablet as a “compromised and confusing product”.
