BSNL has rationalized SIM replacement charges for all kinds of SIM whether it may be 2G/3G SIM, micro SIM, nano SIM or 256K SIM, 4G SIM, the combo of three SIMs. Now the charges for the replacement of SIM have been fixed at Rs 50.
You can now get SIM replaced by any channel partner of BSNL, be it franchisee or retailer of BSNL or from any Customer Service Centre of BSNL.
SIM replacement is needed whenever it gets corrupted or damaged or lost, stolen so to replace SIM in these cases, you have to bear the cost of replacement of SIM.
It is worth noting that Jio does not charge anything and Airtel and Vodafone charge Rs 30 for SIM replacement.
