Sprint owned prepaid subsidiary Virgin Mobile, in USA, have recently revamped its all rate plans and come out with four new plans starting $20, suitable for budget conscious customers who uses data seldom. Whenever such customer uses Internet, they prefer Wi-Fi network for it.
Other rate plan includes unlimited data usage starts from $35 to $55. The carrier differentiate rate plans as per high speed data usage ranges from 250MB to 3GB.
The details of all four plans are shown below.
Virgin Mobile claims that its new rate plans are very competitive as compared to others but if we compare it with its rival T-Mobile’s prepaid subsidiary MetroPCS, then we find that the VM offer a unlimited data plan (3GB high speed data) at $55 while MetroPCS offers the same plan for $50 for individual and customer opting it with family gets it for $45 only (the difference between VM’s and MetroPCS’s plans is that VM offers additional feature of unlimited texting and 100 International minutes free with its rate plan).
You can compare VM’s rate plan with other rate plans of MetroPCS. MetroPCS has two more unlimited data, talk and text plan at $40 and $60 which offers 1GB and true unlimited data at high speed.
