Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) rationalized its all data plans for its all prepaid and postpaid customers and is offering data plans up to 10GB. Now BSNL is all set to introduce a new unified data plan which will offer 20GB of data usage and it is priced Rs 1949 for prepaid customers and it will come with a validity of 60 days.
Postpaid customer can add this add-on plan of 20GB for an additional fixed monthly charge (FMC) of Rs 1711.
Prepaid customers have advantage of longer validity, they can consume 20GB data in a period of 60 days but Postpaid customers have advantage in another way they will be charged @1p/10KB for additional data usage after exhausting bundled data while prepaid customers will be charged @2p/10KB.
Prepaid customers can choose data plan as low as 100MB for Rs 17 but Postpaid customers have right to choose add-on data plans starting from 1GB for a FMC of Rs 125.
Now for low data users, BSNL is also going to launch one more add-on data plan 500MB of data usage for an additional FMC of Rs 75. Data STV of 500MB costs Rs 78 for prepaid customers but comes with 15 days validity only.
These data tariff will be available from 1 December-2013.
