BSNL initially introduced revolutionary 
low calling rate CDMA JOY prepaid plan in the month of July, 2012 for customers of Kerala Circle as a promotional offer for 90 days and based on encouraging response of this plan, BSNL again re-launched this JOY plan in all telecom circle of its south zone effective from 1 Nov, 2013 for 90 days.
Inspired by encouraging response from customers, BSNL have now regularized this JOY plan as regular plan in all telecom circles of south zone with immediate effect.

The CDMA JOY plan is a prepaid plan with MRP of Rs.85 and offers 250 Min Local On-net Calls, 100 Local and National SMS, 50 MB EVDO Data (3.1 Mbps) usage free for 30 days from the date of recharge. The plan can be activated by plan voucher of Rs 41 which also offer freebies of 3000 sec on-net voice calls and 15MB data usage.
With this CDMA Prepaid JOY Plan, customers can also enjoy local and STD calls to BSNL number across India @1p/2Seconds and Calls to other network will be @1p/Sec.
