BSNL today announced 
changes made in some of its WiFi Hotspot plans, specially in validity, keeping the free data allowance and price of the plan unchanged. The Validity of WiFi90 and WiFi150 have been increased to two days and three days from existing validity of one day for both packs. WiFi90 plan offers 800MB data and WiFi150 plan offers 1.5GB data
The increased validity of these two WiFi Hotspot plan will be available on PAN India basis wherever WiFi Hotspot services are operational and the PSU has reminded that this increased validity is a promotional offer for just 90 days only.
BSNL have also rationalizes its long validity data vouchers and now it will credit free data allowance at one go to be consumed in one year. At present these long validity vouchers are offering monthly free data allowance and additional data allowance are being charged from their base tariff plan. Customers buying data voucher DPV4499 will get 10GB more data. Hence starting 16 March 2016, the revised free data allowance will be as following, the validity of all these data vouchers is one year only.
- DPV1499 will offer 9GB in one go instead of 0.75GB per month
- DPV2799 will offer 18GB in one go instead of 1.5GB per month
- DPV3999 will offer 30GB in one go instead of 2.5GB per month
- DPV4499 will offer 40GB in place of existing 30GB for one year.
