Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has tie up with Tata Communication to provide international roaming to its all mobile phone customers dubbed as “Wi-Fi International roaming”.
The service will give BSNL customers seamless access to approx 44 Million Wi-Fi Hotspots in more than 100 countries Globally . These Hot Spots are available globally mainly in US, UK, France, UAE, Brazil, Netherlands, China, Portugal, Korea, Thailand, Japan, Indonesia, Malta, Taiwan, Germany, Mexico, Italy, Russia, Turkey, HongKong, Switzerland, Malaysia, Belgium etc. This list is indicative only subject to change depending upon availability of partner network. The service is available with three pricing options
Weekly (7Days) – INR 999 (All taxes & levies included)
Fortnightly (15 days) – INR 1599 (All taxes & levies included)
Monthly (30 days) – INR 1999 (All taxes & levies included)
These prices include unlimited data usage and customer can also make VoIP calls through messengers apps etc without worrying about bill shock
To avail this service there is no need for BSNL customer to subscribe STD/ISD/International roaming facility. They just need to download My BSNL app on their Android or iOS device and can activate with some simple steps before their departure from India.
BSNL customers can purchase Wi-Fi Roaming pack for 7 days/ 15 days/ 30 days through Online BSNL Portal (www.portal.bsnl.in ) or BSNL’s My BSNL App (available in Google & Apple Play Store).
