Landline customers of BSNL in urban area should be ready to pay Rs 15 more per month from the billing cycle staring from 1st March, 2014 since BSNL has made an announced to this effect today.
As per announcement of BSNL, all landline subscribers across the country who are presently paying Fixed Monthly Charge (FMC) as Rs 180, have to pay Rs 195 from the billing cycle staring 1 March, 2014.

This is the second chance in just two months of this year, when BSNL raises the FMC for its landline subscribers, earlier it has raised FMC for all customers in rural areas, and their FMC had already been raised from Rs 120 to Rs 140 with effect from 1 January, 2014.
Budget conscious Customer should also be aware that BSNL had already reduced pulse rate for local call from 180 sec to 120 sec. This also affect in raising your phone bill.
