BSNL customers !! be ready for another blow up because state owned company today announced hike of fixed monthly charges (FMC) of some landline plans, to be effective from the billing cycle starting 1 October, 2014. This hike in FMC will be applicable for all landline customers across the country.
As per announcement, the FMC of existing landline general plan has been revised from Rs 150 to Rs 170. Free calls has also been increased from 150 to 170.
The FMC of Rural General plan has been revised from Rs 70 to Rs 90 with increased free calls from 70 to 90.
The FMC of Economy landline plan has been revised from Rs 300 to Rs 330 and the FMC of Special plan has been revised from Rs 425 to Rs 450 but here BSNL has not given any relief to its landline customers of these plans by increasing free calls, they will continue to get free calls as they are getting now.
