BSNL is going to hike
Whether you have chosen sec plan or min plan, BSNL will now charge uniformly from both of these customers with same pulse rate of 60 sec.
When you are in roaming area, BSNL will charge Rs 1 per 60 sec for your all local outgoing and incoming calls on all networks and Rs 1.5 for all STD calls on all network.
While sending SMS in roaming area, you must be ready to pay Rs 1.5 per SMS in stead of present rate of 70 paise per SMS. The hike is rate of SMS is more than 200%.
If you have 3G enabled phone and use 3G network for making video calls, be prepared to pay for all video call, whether incoming or outing call, whether it is local or STD video call, at the rate of 5 paise per second in all plan of BSNL which is nearly more than 200% of present rate of 2 or 3 paise per second.
So now onward be ready to pay higher charges of calls and SMS in roaming area of BSNL however We have seen recently that from next year i.e. from 2013, Indian government is going to implement “One nation, free roaming” policy and as per this government’s policy, the subscribers would be freed from the burden of roaming charges from 2013.
