BSNL enhanced minimum Broadband Download Speed to 50Mbps

BSNL has enhanced bandwidth (download speed) for its existing high-paying broadband customers. Earlier customers were experiencing download speed 8Mbps to 80Mbps as per their Broadband plan but now they are experiencing 100Mbps up to 40GB to 250GB data usage per day, and thereafter 4Mbps to 20Mbps for unlimited data usage as per their Broadband plan.

Those Broadband customers, who were experiencing 1Mbps to 24Mbps download speed, are now experiencing flat 24Mbps download speed up to certain data usage limit and thereafter 4Mbps to 8Mbps for unlimited data usage as per their Broadband plan.

BSNL has now reformulated download speed before FUP and after FUP and total data allowance in their all Broadband plans.

Broadly customers will get the following

• Broadband plans up to FMC Rs 500 will get 50Mbps speed before FUP and 2/4Mbps after FUP
• Broadband plans from FMC Rs 500 to up to Rs 1000 will get 100Mbps speed before FUP and 5/10Mbps after FUP
• Broadband plans from FMC Rs 1000 and above will get 200Mbps speed before FUP and 15/20Mbps after FUP
• Data allowance in almost all plans have been enhanced to 3.3TB/ 4TB per month.
