BSNL, in partnership with VAS service provider U2opia Mobile, today launched the service by which BSNL customers can access Facebook without Internet on USSD on any type of mobile handset and too without subscribing to any data plans.
BSNL introduces three rates according to the number of days. Customers can access Facebook for 3 days by paying of nominal charge of Rs 4. The charges for one week have been fixed at Rs 10 and for one month, the customer has to pay Rs 20.
Access Facebook without Internet on USSD code *325#
To avail of this service, BSNL customers can dial *325# from their mobile phones,s and in turn, you will receive some messages, you have to reply to all those messages and then you can start to access Facebook on USSD.
You can perform the following activities on your Facebook account:
• Read News Feed
• Update Status
• Post on others’ wall
• Send and receive friend requests
• Send/Read messages or chat with online friends
• Check notifications
Apart from that you can like or comment on others’ status updates and even you will be able to access and change your account settings from your mobile.
Initially, this service has been launched in the South and East Zones, and shortly it will be expanded to North and West Zones.
