Blackberry Z10 special plans: Reliance v/s BSNL

The new BlackBerry Z10 Smartphone running on new Blackberry 10 Operating System has fantastic features like it is powered by a 1.5GHz processor for faster navigation, 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory which can further be expanded up to 32GB by micro SD cards. It has 8MP main camera and 2 MP front camera. The Blackberry Z10 sport 4.2 inch screen with resolution of 1280×768 pixels and uses micro SIM and is ready for 3G network.

The owner of Blackberry Z10 has special plans from Reliance Communications and BSNL so let us examine what these operator’s offers for you.

Reliance have recently introduced special voice and data plan while BSNL have only data plans specially designed for Blackberry Z10. Those who go for BSNl, have to opt voice plan separately as per your need.

Reliance Communication introduced four special plans of monthly rental of Rss 600, Rs 1000, Rs 1600 and Rs 2000 but in the promotional period, Reliance offered 50% discount on rental so effective monthly rentals are Rs.300, Rs.500, Rs.800 and Rs.1000.  for these plans as detailed below.

The BSNL have made some changes in the existing plans specially for Blackberry Z10 which are listed in first three column as shown below. The next three column shows the three new special plan introduced for Blackberry Z10.

If you opt BSNL’s Postpaid plan of Rs 225, it offers freebies of 9000 sec local calls and 3000 sec STD calls and 150 SMS (Local+National). So if you go for BB10 Gold plan for your Blackberry Z10, your monthly expenses would be Rs 296.67+ Rs 225= Rs 521.67 and in this amount you get 3GB data per month along with 9000 sec local calls,  3000 sec STD calls and 150 SMS against the Reliance’s Smart 1600 plan which offers you free 3GB data along with 1400 (Local and STD) minutes for voice calls for effective monthly charges of Rs 800. The difference in any amount may be taxes as applicable.

For prepaid customers, Reliance offer 1GB data usage FREE at 3G speed for 3 months and FREE WhatsApp, Facebook and Twitter Packages for a period of 90 days to customers who buy BlackBerry Z10 smartphones and using Reliance Prepaid GSM/3G SIM card.

While BSNL have three prepaid plans of STV of Rs Lite- Rs 305, Social-Rs 303, BIS-C of Rs 410 and BIS-III of Rs 1009 and have the same offers as it offers to its postpaid customers (as shown in above table). The new prepaid plan for Blackberry Z10 have STVs of 12 month validity and are priced as Silver Rs 1999, Gold Rs 3999 and Platinum Rs 6999. These STVs have same offerings as it has its postpaid customers (as shown in above table)
