AT&T recently offered credit up to $450 to T-Mobile customers to switch and to add more attractions; AT&T is adding two more devices for all customers.This has been announced at CES-2014 at Las Vegas.
AT&T with ASUS announced one fabulous device, ASUS PadFone X combo, a combo of smartphone and tablet in one. Actually this gadget is for those who want best of both smartphone and tablet. The smartphone is the brain of the PadFone and docks into a 9 inch tablet. The PadFone X functions as a normal smartphone but with docked in, it works as large screen tablet.
The detached smartphone has a 5 inch screen of 1080p full HD display while tablet’s screen size is 9 inch with a 1920×1200 pixel resolution.
The PadFone X is powered by latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor and equipped with 2GB of RAM, runs on latest Android 4.4 KitKat OS and supports LTE-Advanced technology as well as Voice over LTE (VoLTE) and HD Voice The PadFone X is powered by 2300mAh battery. Pricing and availability of PadFone X at AT&T will be announced later.
AT&T is also adding LG G-Flex curved smartphone, it has a 6-inch 720p Plastic-OLED screen. It is powered by 2.26 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor and runs on Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2. It is packed with 2GB of RAM, a large 3,500 mAh battery, a 13-megapixel camera.
AT&T will offer this smartphone in April this year but its price plans are yet to be disclosed. Currently this phone is being sold at non-subsidized price of $940 in areas where it is currently available.
LG G-Flex curved smartphone is also heading to T-Mobile and Sprint.
