Just after the debut of Transformer All-in-One PC, the Asus has launched a budget 7-inch tablet MeMo Pad ME172V. The MeMo Pad looks alike Nexus-7 tablet but few features are at compromise. The MeMo Pad is price very competitively to compete in ultra competitive tablet market. The Pad has been priced starting at $149 for 8 GB Model in US.
The 7-inch MeMo Pad runs on Jelly Bean Android OS version 4.1 and is powered by a 1GHz VIA WM8950 GPU and a Mali-400 CPU. The Pad has a 7-inch display with a 1024 x 600-pixel resolution, as compared to Nexus-7 resolution of 1280×800. The MeMo Pad has 1GB of RAM and internal memory storage of 8GB or 16GB, unlike the Nexus-7, which has Onboard fix memory storage, and this internal memory of MeMo tablet can be expanded up to 32GB with use of micro SD card slot. The good thing with MeMo Pad is that you will get same battery as of Nexus-7, i.e. a 4270mAh battery with an estimated 7 hours of battery life to the user of MeMo.
The MeMo Pad will be available with Google’s Play Store and the US version will support Hulu Plus, Netflix, HBO Go, SuperNote Lite, ASUS studio and My BitCast.
