Airtel and Aircel offers iPhone 5 with free benefits

The “fastest selling” phone in the history, Apple’s iPhone 5 has been launched in India officially and on the launch of this most exciting phone, mobile operators in India have also announced their exclusive plans for this new iOS device. For this thinner, lighter and with a 4-inch screen  iPhone5, you have to pay Rs 45500 for 16GB model while for 32 GB model, you need to pay Rs 52,500. The 64 GB model is priced at Rs 59500. AirTel and Aircel have announced some free benefit on the purchase of this new iPhone from their outlets.

Airtel has announced four new voice and data plans for iPhone5 customers to connect to its fast HSPA+ and DC-HSPA networks with Wideband Audio.

Airtel is offering a 50 percent discount on all its plans. The low cost plan of  Airtel starts at Rs. 300 (after a discount of 50 percent) and includes benefits of free 500 local minutes, 300 local and national SMS and 200MB of 3G data. The Rs. 500 plan includes free 900 local minutes, 400 local and national SMS and 500MB of 3G data. The Rs. 800 plan offers users free 1,400 minutes of call time,  500 local and national SMS and1.2GB of 3G data, while the most expensive Rs. 1,000 plan has free1,500 minutes local time, 600 local and national SMS, and 3GB 3G data. For prepaid customers, Airtel also launches 4 new plans for iPhone 5 at monthly recharge of Rs.290, Rs.490, Rs.790 and Rs.990.

Aircel also announced new range of exciting iPhone 5 Plans with FREE Data Voice and SMS usage.The  Aircel claims that iPhone 5 customers will bet free benefit of more than Rs. 20,000 annually with every iPhone5.

The postpaid customers of Aircel will enjoy special plans which includes freedom from payment of monthly rentals for next 12 months and additional benefits of free in-built usage (1GB data per month) bundled with voice (500 mins /month) and SMS (500 / month). In other words, Aircel customers get all the above mentioned benefits for FREE with iPhone 5. After 12 months, the customer has to pay only Rs. 399/month to continue all these benefits.

Aircel will soon launch a series of value-based prepaid plans, starting at just Rs. 399, with bundled data and SMS pack, aimed its prepaid customers. Aircel’s iPhone customers will receive their devices with pre-loaded settings for the unlimited Internet access. Aircel is also offering an option of a EMI for 12 months through the Aircel’s exclusive stores.
