Aircel has launched a very genuine 
rate-cutter pack for Delhites keeping in view of Student and others who talk more on STD. The pack is priced at Rs 22 and has validity of 28 days and this rate-cutter pack allow the Aircel Prepaid Customers to make first 100 min STD calls @25p per min and after that all STD calls will be charged with @50p per min.
On launching this rate cutter pack, Anil Gupta, regional manager, North, Aircel, said, “Delhi witnesses a huge population of students and migrants from other states who want to stay connected with their friends and family. Through this product, we would like to establish us as a preferred telecom operator in the STD segment.”
If we look across all the mobile operators, most of them have STD call rates 1.2p/sec or 50p/min. BSNL have one rate cutter of Rs 28 with a validity of 30 days which allows BSNL customers to make on-net all Local/STD calls @Rs1/3min while all Local and STD calls on off-net are being charged @Rs1.20 per 3min.
