One of India’s internet service providers (ISPs) with the highest rate of expansion, ACT Fibernet, recently declared a collaboration with Netflix. With some long-term agreements, ACT Fibernet customers will now get free access to Netflix Basic OTT. ACT is now among a select group of Indian internet ISPs that includes Netflix in its plans. ACT Fibernet has expanded its operations and now it offers broadband services in 22 cities, mostly in the Southern States including Delhi, Jaipur, Lucknow, and Ahmedabad.
ACT Fibernet Broadband Plans with Netflix
It offers a plethora of attractive plans with add-on packs of subscriptions to OTT platforms, the main attraction for many subscribers. The plans are very competitive with peer telecom operators. The plan starts at Rs 699/mo for 125Mbps download speed to Rs 5999/mo for download speed up to 1Gbps. The plan prices differ from place to place so before selecting any plan, please check prices with ACT.
ACT is offering Netflix Basic with most of its broadband plans except a few. The customer would only need to pay the difference if they wanted to upgrade from Netflix Basic to Netflix Standard or Netflix Premium
Netflix Basic is offered to subscribers who pay at least 6-month charges in advance. In addition to a free subscription to Netflix Basic, you may get 1 or 2 months of free usage of the broadband plan. The monthly cost of the Netflix Basic package is Rs 199 and this will be added to your broadband plan at no additional cost. So you can potentially save Rs 2400 every year in case you were subscribing to the Netflix Basic plan.
The two other Netflix plans are Netflix Standard and Netflix Premium and have monthly fees of Rs. 499 and Rs. 649, respectively. So if you need to upgrade your Netflix plan, you can get it by paying the difference.
ACT Fibernet also offers subscriptions to other popular OTT platforms as add-on plans at discounts. It offers a one-month free trial offer of OTT Zee5. It offers 34% discounts on Hungama OTT i.e. you may get it for just Rs 99 instead of Rs 149 with ACT Broadband plans. You may also subscribe SonyLiv OTT 6-month or annual plan with ACT Broadband by just paying the subscription fee.
