WhatsApp may soon be used on your laptop

whatsapp-logoOf course, you may use WhatsApp on your laptop/ desktop even today with the help of a third party application BlueStacks  which creates an environment on your laptop/ desktop for all android application. But you can use WhatsApp either on your desktop or your smartphone using a single phone number, you can’t use WhatsApp simultaneously on both desktop and smartphone.

Now the rumor is that WhatsApp might be bringing its messaging service to the web and for this WhatsApp is likely hiring web development services from a third vendor.

After acquiring by facebook, WhatsApp added few features like sender can check the exact time when the recipient read the message and recipient has also been given power to disable the “Read” feature if they desire so but even after becoming world’s largest messaging service app with over 600 million users, WhatsApp still doesn’t offer a web version, as its competitors like Line, Viber, Telegram and WeChat, all allow you to message either on your smartphone or the via the web.
