T-Mobile announces best budget data plan $40 as compared to AT&T and Verizon

US’s fourth largest LTE carrier, T-Mobile has again shaked the wireless industry by its latest announcement of a new plan for budget conscious customers. The latest “Simple Starter plan” costs $40 a month for unlimited talk, text and 500MB high speed LTE data.us_tmo2

There is no overage because no additional data is allowed. As the customer reach near 500MB data usage limit, a message will pop-up to pay for additional data. Additional 500MB data will be offered for $5 but it will have validity of one day only. Customer will have another option to choose 1GB data to be used for next 7 days for $10.

Other two major carriers charges additional data heavily, like AT&T has low data plan starting 300MB for $20 but it charges data overage $20 per 300MB on 300MB data plan. AT&T’s next 1GB data plan costs $25 but here again additional data are being charges @$20 per 500MB..

Verizon also charges overage heavily. It has 500MB data plan for $30 (device access fee is extra), but it charges data overage $15 per 500MB. 1GB data plan costs $40 but again overage charges are $15 per 1GB.

This Simple starter plan is for individual customers only and also don’t have extra features like global roaming or international texting.The new plan don’t require to sign any contract with carrier. This new Simple Starter plan will be available from April 12, 2014 and its prepaid version will be coming on May 17, 2014.
