Samsung unveiled world’s first 4G LTE-Advanced featured Galaxy S4 smartphone, supports 150Mbps speed

Samsung unveiled LTE-Advanced featured Galaxy S4 smartphone in South Korea when the SK Telecom launched world’s first LTE-Advanced featured network. Samsung-Galaxy-S4-LTE-ASK Telecom claims that subscriber will experience ultra fast speed up to 150Mbps-almost double of 4G and 10 times faster than that of 3G, on the LTE-A network.

SK Telecom said that currently the only compatible phone is advanced version of the Galaxy S4 and it will also offer seven new LTE-A handset to customers by this year end.

The S4-Advanced is basically a advanced version of its Galaxy S4, it looks like the original Galaxy S4 from outside but it is powered with more powerful processor of Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. Its key specification are as below

CPU: 2.3 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor

Screen: 5 inch Super AMOLED with 1920 x 1080 pixel display

OS: Android Jelly Bean v4.2.2

RAM: 2GB

Cameras: Rear Camera is 13MP and front facing camera is 2MP with special feature of dual shot, you can get to click shots from both the cameras. Price and Availability: Not yet revealed but it is expected that price may be same as of Galaxy S4 and will first be available inn Korea, starting this summer, in blue arctic or red aurora colors

Air view: With this feature, you need to use S-Pen mandatory but your finger can be used as pen, just hover your finger over the screen and see the expanded visuals.

IR Blaster: This AWESOME feature powers to you control anything remotely. Using WatchON app and built-in IR blaster, you can literally remote control almost all the gadgets at your place. Be it TV, Music player or anything.

It is buzzing that T-Mobile may introduce LTE-Advanced feature to its 4G network by this year end and other carriers like Verizon, Sprint and AT&T are also working to deploy LTE-Advanced very soon.

But this smartphone Galaxy S4 Advanced will not work in Indian 4G network because in India, 4G network is on TD-LTE technology.
