Telecom operators are 
coming up with special offers for their customers on this auspicious occasion of 67th Independence day. Till now only BSNL, Aircel and Uninor has announced their special offers but we can expect other operator will also launch special offers for their customers.
Let us see, what these operators are offering on Independence day.
BSNL is launching four new prepaid 2G/3G Data STVs starting from MRP of Rs 17, with a validity of 3 days, which offer you 100MB of data. Other data STVs are priced Rs 39, 78 and 98. All these new data STVs will be available from 15 August. Details are as below.
It must also be noted that BSNL is going to reduce data charges drastically, almost 45%, with effect from 15 August and also closing all the existing 2G/3G data STVs. BSNL is launching another 4 new data STV which offer data starting 1GB and above. for details, please click here.
BSNL is also offering full Talktime ton its all top ups starting from Rs 200 to Rs 999 to their prepaid customers in all circles of India.
Aircel is also launching best value packs “ Full freedom-Full Talktime” for their existing as well as new customers of Mumbai, Maharastra, Goa and Gujarat circle. Aircel is offering best value pack of Rs 91 which has validity of 180 days with a special feature of full talk time on all subsequent recharges staring from Rs 10/30/ 90.
Similarly for new customer, Aircel has pack of Rs 27 with validity of 60 days and customer will get full talk time on all subsequent recharges staring from Rs 10.
Uninor has announced special promotions for its Maharashtra & Goa customers and allowed them to enjoy free and unlimited 2G data (GPRS) full day on 15 August. The customers also have option to choose special GPRS packs priced Rs 63 which has validity of 21 days and offer 1.5GB data usage. Other GPRS pack is priced Rs 95 which offers 3GB data for 21 days.
Update:
MTNL have also announced a special E-recharge for its Trump Prepaid customers of Delhi circle only. The E-recharge is priced Rs 1508 and allows customers talktime of of worth Rs 1947 with nil validity.
MTNL also have Independence day special offer for its Trump prepaid customer of Mumbai circle. The special STV of Rs 96 offers free local calls of 6600 sec and free STD calls of 2800 seconds. This STV is available till 16-8-2013.
Tata DoCoMo launched Freedom offer for all GSM prepay customers of Andra Pradesh on 2G network. The Prepay Recharge is priced Rs 32 and customers can use 1947 MB data (Approx 2GB) on 2G speed for 7 days. This offer is available till 31 August.
Videocon Mobile Services also announced free unlimited mobile internet data usage whole day on 15 August . Videocon has also offered 25% additional data usage on its GPRS pack of Rs 22 and above but to avail the offer, you have to subscribe to a song by dialing toll free number 543211015.
