Reliance Jio is the fastest-growing company and acquired around millions customers in a very short period of four years. Vodafone-Idea (Vi) after the merger has approx. 330 million customers and Airtel also have almost 330 million customers. The state-run company BSNL has 120 million mobile customers. Many customers of these telecom operators are not aware of the USSD code by which they can check balance and usage of Mobile Phone Plan, the validity, and many more things.

Here are a few important useful shortcodes (USSD) to check balance and usage of Mobile Phone Plan from your mobile phone plans.

Jio

Jio customers when recharges their plan, the confirmation message contains all details of the plan, validity, etc but after usage, they may check balance and usage of Mobile Phone Plan again in two ways. Either they can dial IVRS 1991 number from their Jio number to know the balance, the validity of their plan, and many more. Alternatively, they may send SMS BAL to 199 and in return, they will receive an SMS from Jio mentioning every detail like mobile number, plan, plan validity, and balance as shown below.

Vodafone Idea

Vodafone customers may Dial *111# from their pre-paid and post-paid numbers to know about their account details by selecting a suitable option out of a list of 10 options.

Idea customers, although merged with Vodafone but still the network is separate so USSD codes are also different. Idea customers may dial *121*4# for the self-care main menu or may dial *121# or *131*3# to check the balance and validity of the plan. They may also check the 4G data balance by dialing *125#.

Airtel

Airtel customers may dial *121# for the self-care main menu or may dial *123# to check the balance and validity of the plan. They may also check the 4G data balance by dialing *121*2# and selecting option 1.

BSNL

BSNL customers may dial *124# or *123# and you will get a list of 8 options to check balance and validity, STV, F&F, current tariff plan, or the option to change tariff plan, etc as shown in the below picture.

MTNL

MTNL customers, although are in small numbers but they also can check their main account balance and other details by dialing *444# from their MTNL number. They can dial *446# to check 3G internet data usage or other details.
