Comparison of 4G Data Prepaid plans : Verizon, MetroPCS and T-Mobile

Remember ! T-Mobile has begin the prepaid war in USA and now started offering prepaid plans at its own store. T-Mobile is offering Simply prepaid plans at $40, $50 and $60 with unlimited talk, text and 1GB, 3GB and 5GB of 4G data usage respectively.us_prepaid

To take on T-Mobile’s prepaid plans, Verizon has also bumped up data allowance in its prepaid plans “ALLSET” from 500MB to 1GB. It’s prepaid plan is priced at $45 and you sign up for AutoPay, you will get additional 500MB that means you will get total 1.5GB plus unlimited talk and texting. Verizon also offering “Bridge data” , you can buy additional 3GB data for $20 with a validity of 90 days. Guys ! 4.5GB data at 4G speed for just $65 is not a bad deal.

T-Mobile’s own prepaid arm MetroPCS offers even better plan as compared to T-Mobile. Today MetroPCS has launched a promotional new unlimited 4G LTE Plan for just $50 for a limited time but mind it, this plan will not be available in Indiana. Further MetroPCS says, if abnormal use noticed, the speed may be slowed down.

Promotional $50 unlimited 4G LTE rate plan requires a 4G LTE capable GSM device. You can not bring your own device, you have to buy eligible 4G LTE phones from MetroPCS to avail this plan.

The list of eligible 4G LTE devices include Samsung Galaxy Avant ($69), Samsung Galaxy Light ($49), Samsung Galaxy MEGA, Samsung Galaxy S III , Samsung Galaxy S 4, Samsung Galaxy S5 ($589), LG Optimus F3, LG Optimus F60 ($59), Kyocera Hydro XTRM, Huawei Vitria, ZTE ZMAX ($99).

However if you want to bring your own device, MetroPCS has another rate plan at $60 that offers unlimited 4G data, talk and text.

MetroPCS has also increased data allowance by 1GB in its all regular rate plans, like customers opting $40 plan will now get 2GB in place of 1GB, plus unlimited talk and text. Customer on  $50 plan henceforth will get increased data from 3GB to 4GB.
