BSNL customers will get less time to consume their free data allowance of their STVs because, BSNL is going to change the method of counting of validity of STVs as well as also going to reduce validity of some popular data STVs.
As per new method, the validity will be counted as “Calendar day” instead of “Days” i.e. customers will get validity up to 23:59 Hrs of last day of validity irrespective of time of recharge on first day. This change will come in effect from 1 May 2016.
The validity of data STVs having MRPs of Rs 56, Rs 68 and Rs 155 are going to be changed from 20 April 2016 from 27 days, 2 days and 18 days to 21 days, 1 day and 15 days respectively. The free talk time of two combo STVs of Rs 239 and Rs 451 have been reduced as per following exclusive screenshot.
In addition to this, validity of one data STV of Rs 198, exclusively available in South zone circles, has been reduced from 28 days to 24 days.
The data STV of Rs 291 have been revamped for south zone circles and now customer will get 2GB data in place of 2.2GB and its validity has been increased from 28 days to 30 days.
The changes in above three STVs for south zone circles will come in effect from 20-4-2016.
