BSNL is changing features and validity of some STVs from 6 June

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) haveBsnl-STV-Pack once again rationalised some features and validity of some of its special tariff vouchers (STV).  BSNL have variety of STVs especially designed to give relief to customers and reduce their monthly bills as per usage pattern of customers.

In additional to rationalising STVs, BSNL is also going to introduce one new STV of Rs 121 which let you 1800 min On-net free calls during night hours within validity period of 30 days, targeting  youths, couples.

BSNL have either reduced the validity period or curtailed the freebies offered with most of STVs. The validity of STV of Rs 344, 894 and 164 have been reduced by 10% days. The features of STVs of Rs 34, 574 and 1494 have been limited, earlier these STVs were offering unlimited freebies. The validity period are also reduced by 10%. The freebies offered in STV of Rs 135 have been reduced. one exceptions is there, the validity of STV of Rs 59 have been increased from 15 days to 30 days.

All the above changes will be effective from 6th June-2013.

In short, BSNL have cut the freebies and validity to make an effort to increase the revenue of BSNL which was continuously sliding.

    This is very bad changing the plan of 547 unlimited to 500 mins. As per this the STD call rate comes more than a rupee. Which is very high. This will not help BSNL to increase the revenue. Customers will move to other providers.Even this was not known by the BSNL offcials and I was miss lead by them and I was forced to go for the 574 plan and now I am feeling very bad. My money got lost.
