BSNL hikes FMC of few Broadband Plans by Rs 25 to Rs 350, effective 1-March-14

Exactly after one year of hike bsnl_bb2in broadband tariff for customers of Karnataka and Tamilnadu telecom circles, Country’s major Landline broadband service provider, BSNL announced today to hike fixed monthly charges (FMC) of few more broadband plans from the billing cycle starting from 1-March-2014 for all the customers across the country.

The revised FMCs of Broadband plans are shown in below picture. Payments for annual plan are also revised in proportions.

bsnl_bb4The BBG 250 is the basic broadband plan which lets users to avail internet at speed up to 2 Mbps, the free data usage limit is 1GB only and after this, additional data are being charged @30p/MB up to 5GB and then @15p/MB (BSNL’s 3G data plan is more economical which allow user to use 1GB for just Rs 125 only)

BBG FN Combo 600 offers download speed up to 2Mbps and allows user max free data of 2.5GB data but additional data will be charged @30p/MB up to 5GB and thereafter @15p/MB. It also offers 250 calls free.

BBG Speed Combo 2799 plan offers download speed up to 8Mbps and here free data usage limit is 60GB per month. Additional data usage are charged @15p/MB. It offers 500 calls free.

The BBG Super Speed Combo 3699 VDSL plan allows users to use the internet at 10 Mbps download speed and 4Mbps upload speed. The plan has cap at 100GB after which additional data are being charged @15p/MB.

BBG Super Speed Combo 4999 and 6999 plans offers max free data usage 125GB and 250GB at download speed up to 16Mbps and 24Mbps respectively. Additional data will be charged @15p/MB.

BB PCO 400 is exclusively is for PCO owners and plan offers 4GB free data usage at speed up to 2Mbps but additional data will be charged @20p/MB

 Note: all the Combo plan includes FMC of landline phone i.e. FMC for landline phone is Nil. For more details, you may contact nearest BSNL CSC.
