Currently, T-Mobile is offering $100 cashback in the form of a $100 Virtual Prepaid Mastercard® for your first two months of service plus T-Mobile also pays up to $500 in termination fees. T-Mobile is also trying to sweeten the plan by offering a yearlong Paramount Plus subscription for free (a $60 value). And new customers with a Magenta MAX mobile plan also get a chance to subscribe to Philo TV for $15 a month for one year ($10 off per month)

Best Home Internet Plans under $50/mo

AT&T Fixed Wireless LTE Internet

AT&T’s Fixed Wireless LTE Internet service cover around 1.1 million locations in 22 States including California, Florida, and Texas. AT&T’s Fixed wireless LTE plan costs $59.99 per month for a 350GB data allowance per month if you sign a contract for 12 months. You have to pay $10 per 50GB of additional data up to a maximum of $200 per month. AT&T also charges up to $99 as an installation fee.

AT&T is currently running a promotion for new residential customers, those who will sign up for Fixed Wireless Internet service between 11/9/20 and 12/13/20 will receive an additional 250GB internet data allowance per month i.e. 500GB per month. AT&T Fixed Wireless Internet customers experience 20-25Mbps speed.

Verizon fixed LTE Home Internet

Verizon’s fixed LTE Home Internet is available in rural parts of 189 markets in 48 States and the services are provided on a 4G LTE network. Verizon’s LTE Home Internet is truly unlimited with average speeds of up to 50Mbps. The LTE Home Internet service costs $60/month for non-Verizon customers. If customers opt for auto-pay, the monthly charges reduce to $50/month.

Verizon LTE Home Internet customers that combine their service with a mobile plan can save even more like LTE Home Internet customers with select Verizon Mobile Unlimited plans pay $25/month*, and LTE Home Internet on any other Verizon Mobile plan of $30 or more/month pay $40/month*.

Verizon now offers 5G Home Internet with 300-1000Mbps download speed for a price of $80/month for non-Verizon customers ($70/month with auto-pay option). The price reduces to 50% at $35/month for a few select Verizon mobile customers.

Comcast Xfinity

Comcast Xfinity offers the most affordable plan for home internet for just $39.99/mo with download speeds up to 100Mbps. If you bundle TV with home internet then the bundled plan offers you more than 140 channels with download speeds up to 400Mbps for $104.99/mo if you sign up for an agreement for one year.

Comparing all the above plans, T-Mobile offers a plan of $50/mo without a contract while Verizon’s customer needs to pay less for slow speed. AT&T doesn’t allow unlimited data usage. Comcast Xfinity offers the cheapest home internet plan.
