The installation charge of Rs 250 has been increased to Rs 500 for a new FTTH Bharat Fiber Broadband connection. But if you have a landline connection and now want to get a broadband connection then you will still be charged Rs 250 only. If presently you have an Only-Broadband connection and now need to get a voice calling facility, you will be provided it free of cost.

BSNL has brought a promotional offer of waiving off installation charge for Landline (Rs 250) and FTTH Broadband (Rs 500 ) for new customers for the next 90 days starting from August-2021

There is no installation charge for Modem for Broadband (ONT).

If you opt for an Annual or two-year or three-year advance payment option, BSNL will not charge any Installation charges for a new Landline or Broadband connection even you will get a one-month free service for opting for annual payment option whereas the two-year scheme will get two months and the three-year scheme will get 4 months free service.

So now when you get a new landline with a Broadband connection from BSNL, don’t get surprised to see your first bill from BSNL.

  • The Landline customers of BSNL are already going down ( as per TRAI report ) and I think the company wants more to go by increasing FMC, closing all attractive plans like Annual 1200 (pay 10 months and use 12 months ), YNA, FLPP etc. Now the broadband customers will definately go. Other companies are attracting customers and what BSNL doing? BSNL must think.
