Airtel has introduced a new Airtel Xstream fiber bundle to take on Jio fiber which has also launched new fiber plans recently.
Airtel Xstream fiber now has five plans starting from Rs 499 and download speed from 40Mbps to 1Gbps as per plan. All Xstream fiber plan offers unlimited data, unlimited calls, Airtel Xstream 4K TV Box, and OTT content of the Xstream 4K TV Box.
Airtel Xstream has a library of 10000+ movies, shows, and original web series from 7 OTT apps and 5 Studios.
To get the Airtel Xstream 4K TV Box with the new Airtel Xstream Bundle plan, you have to pay a security deposit of Rs 1500. Customers opting for the Premium and VIP broadband plans for Rs 1,499 and Rs 3,999, will get an additional benefit of entertainment OTT, Disney+ Hotstar, Amazon Prime Video, and ZEE5.
Reliance-owned Jio fiber recently announced four new fiber plans starting at Rs 399 per month with a download speed of 30Mbps but an additional benefit of OTT comes with a plan of monthly charge of Rs 999 and above plans. Jio offers a free subscription of 11 OTT apps worth Rs 1000 with a Rs 999 plan and 12 OTT apps worth Rs 1500 with a Rs 1499 plan.
Customers choosing Jio’s new plan of Rs 999 to get a 30-day free trial by paying either a refundable amount of Rs 2500 or Rs 1500 depending on whether they want free OTT during the free trail or not.
Compared with Airtel Xstream fiber and Jio fiber, it is clear, customers who love to enjoy entertainment OTT at cheaper rates will go for Airtel Xstream.
